Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)

Congress established SAMHSA in 1992 to make substance use and mental disorder information, services, and research more accessible. The organization's mission is to promote mental health, prevent substance misuse, and provide treatments and supports to ensure equitable access and better outcomes.

Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Development
